Rusholme Project

I am really excited about our latest design/build project. The most striking thing about the garden is the sheer number of trees in various stages of life/death that have swallowed large chunks of chain link fence (see photos). Also the garden is used by Knuckle Down Farms as a distribution point for a CSA. To top it all off the homeowner is interested in native species and especially pollinator friendly plants. I am even seeing possibilities for the rotting trunks and boulder piles. Did I mention I was excited? Today we took measurements for the base plan and soon will start work on some concepts. Stay tuned.

Knuckle Down Farm lives in the imagination of Jenny Cook as a mixed-use organic farm focused primarily on the production of vegetables. Jenny has been farming full time since 2010 and is currently Knuckling Down on her own farm she just purchased over the winter! Knuckle Down Farm hopes to grow food in a way that delights the palate, nourishes the soil and cultivates the future of Knuckle Down as a farm. Contact: Email:jenny.anne.cook@gmail.com
