Job Details:
We are looking for a collaborative, outgoing, and creative designer. We are a friendly, tight-knit team of landscape and horticulture specialists that need help communicating our design plans and details at the residential scale. This full-time job is available immediately. We offer a living wage for the city of Toronto, flexible work hours, a work environment rooted in principles of social and climate justice, and benefits.

Candidate screening will occur on a rolling basis until March 28, 2021.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

Ability to work independently with check-ins throughout the day
A collaborative and creative designer who can work with and synthesize input from the rest of the team to create beautiful and effective landscape design drawings (plan, section, elevation, details)
Can communicate effectively to both our team and to potential clients
Strong graphic design skills and compositional skills
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino or Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
Has a degree in Landscape Architecture (undergraduate or graduate) or equivalent
A fast learner who is interested in learning about and understanding the construction side of landscape design
Is interested in plants, climate change, and climate justice

Our projects push the boundaries of what is possible in small-scale design through ecologically-sound plantings, water management strategies, custom stonework, paving, and more.
